What This Site Collects
Heat Pump Weather collects almost nothing: no accounts, forms, analytics, ad trackers or cookies of its own, with the only outside requests coming from web fonts, video thumbnails and the standard logs any web host keeps.
No analytics or ads
This site runs no analytics, no ad networks and no tracking pixels, and it sets no cookies of its own. There are no accounts to create, no forms to fill in and no newsletter sign-up, so there is nothing for you to submit and nothing about you to store.
Pages are plain, prebuilt files. Reading one does not send your activity to any measurement or advertising service.
Videos
Some pages show a YouTube video, and those videos are click-to-play. Before you click, the page loads only the video's thumbnail picture from YouTube's image server (i.ytimg.com), which means YouTube's servers see an ordinary image request from your browser.
The video player itself loads from youtube-nocookie.com only after you click play. At that point YouTube's own privacy terms apply to the player and anything it loads. If you never click, the player never loads.
Fonts
The typefaces on this site come from Google Fonts. Your browser fetches them from Google's font servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) when a page loads, so Google receives the standard details of that request, such as your IP address and browser type.
Server logs
The company that hosts the site keeps standard server logs, which record details such as IP addresses, the pages requested and the time of each request. The host keeps them for security, and this site does not use them for advertising or to profile readers.

This page describes how the site is built as of its updated date. If anything here changes, such as a new kind of outside request, this page will be updated first and its date will change.
